ABOUT ME

A small introduction about my self

Raphael Maltais

Animator | Illustrator

As far as I can remember, drawing has always been a passion for me. I entered drawing schools at the age of 8, then completed a high school degree + in Visual Arts, a college degree in Multimedia and a bachelor degree in Art and Science of Animation.

In all the mediums I experimented, 2D animation is my favorite, and became a devotion over the years. Since my graduation, I had the chance to work on many projects and held many titles as character animator, senior animator, lead animator, and supervisor.

I have been active for many years at Wildbrain, I started as an animator on ''Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs''(Sony Animation) and animated on various project. I animated on various projects and most recently, I have been animation supervisor on ''Proud Family : Louder and Prouder'' (Disney Animation) and other projects.

I had the wonderful experience to be an animator on the first season of ''Star Trek: Lower Decks''. After first season ended, I kept working part-time on various project with Titmouse. In 2022, I worked full time again on ''Star Trek : Lower Decks Season 3''.
